Buenos Aires Corner Cafe

A small corner cafe opens onto a tree-lined Buenos Aires street. Teal shutters frame the doorway, and round tables sit beneath the awning with cups, plants and empty chairs. Old cream walls rise to balconies with iron railings, while hanging pots soften the edges of the shopfront.

The pavement is made of patterned tiles that run diagonally towards the intersection. A bicycle leans beside a lamppost, and a small vintage car waits farther down the street under the trees. Sun and leaf shadows make the lower half change from bright stone to deep blue-grey patches.
