Calico Cat among Potted Herbs

A calico cat curls on a warm terracotta floor beside an open back door. Basil, rosemary and mint fill three weathered pots behind its rounded body, each herb making a different green pattern. The cat's orange, black and white patches break across its back and face, while a small garden beyond the doorway brings pink flowers and pale stone into view.

The face, ears and front paws make a natural centre. After that, follow the dark tail around the white chest and separate the fur patches by their edges rather than colour alone. Pot rims form broad curves behind the cat. Floor tiles, leaf shadows and the woven mat create smaller repeating shapes near the lower edge.
