Capybaras near Water Hyacinths

A small capybara group rests along the grassy bank and in the shallow water. The largest animal lies close to the foreground, with wet fur catching the last light, while a smaller one sits between purple water hyacinth blooms. Broad leaves float across the lake and the low sun turns the far channel gold.

The capybaras have clear silhouettes, but their brown coats still hold many small changes in texture. Flowers add bright purple landmarks among the rounded green leaves. Water reflections soften the background, while grass blades and muddy edges make sharper lines at the front. Start with the animals, then follow the flower clusters and the broken sunset path across the water.
