Hidden Cenote in the Jungle

Clear turquoise water fills a hidden cenote under thick jungle growth. Pale limestone walls curve around the pool, rough and mossy where the rock meets shadow. Long vines hang from the rim, exposed roots grip the right wall, and a narrow beam of sunlight falls through the leaves onto the water.

Water color is the cleanest place to start, especially where bright cyan shifts into deeper blue near the cave edge. Limestone texture breaks into pale gray, green moss and darker pockets, giving the walls more variety than a flat rock ring. Hanging vines create thin vertical lines across the scene, while the rooted tree on the right becomes a strong anchor once the foliage starts to crowd together.
