Hurdles Lined Up on a Wet Running Track

A hurdle is built in an L shape with its feet pointing toward the runners, so a clipped bar tips forward and falls away instead of tripping someone. Knocking one over costs a little time but isn't against the rules. After a rain shower the hurdles stand in a long row down a wet red track, with an empty grandstand and a stretch of infield grass beside them. The blue frames reflect in the puddles, a neat touch in a hurdles jigsaw puzzle.
