Istanbul Ferry Pier at Dusk

A ferry nears the pier as the sky turns peach, violet and deep blue over the water. Tea glasses line the kiosk counter on the left, with a brass pot, warm lights and pastries close by. Gulls cross the view, while mooring ropes and black bollards lead towards the boat. Across the Bosphorus, domes, minarets and city lights make a horizon.

Build the kiosk and ferry first because their straight edges are easy to recognize. The water is broken into bands of reflected sunset and darker waves, while the skyline is full of tiny lights and rooflines. Use the gulls as landmarks, then follow the ropes down the pier. The scene has atmosphere, but each area has a different texture to guide the solve.
