Lion Pride at a Waterhole

The females of a lion pride are nearly always related, a group of mothers, daughters, sisters and aunts. They often raise their cubs together and will even nurse each other's young. A pride has come down to a waterhole on the dry savanna, a family scene for a lion jigsaw puzzle. A male's roar can carry about 5 miles, which tells rival lions exactly whose land this is.
