Misty Pine Forest

Rain has left the pine forest dark and damp, with mist hanging between the straight trunks. A narrow trail begins among exposed roots and wet stones, then bends out of sight behind the trees. Ferns, moss and young green shoots fill the ground on both sides.

The broad trunks are easy to pick out first, especially the rough bark along the left edge and the darker trees on the right. Follow the path through the middle, using the stones and roots to keep each turn in place. The mistier background takes a little longer, but small branches and changes in the green undergrowth stop the last pieces from looking alike.
