Pine Needles after Rain

Rain-darkened pine needles cover the forest floor beside bark, cones and patches of moss. Water beads catch small highlights, while twig lines break the long brown and green textures into short groups.

Sort needles by direction and length, then build cones from their overlapping scales. Bark cracks offer firm anchors; leave the broad moss patches until the scattered foreground marks are joined. Cone scales and wet needle clusters make short textured runs across the forest floor. Needle direction separates forest-floor pieces that carry almost identical browns.
