Octopus beside a Broken Clay Pot

A red-brown octopus spreads across the rocky seabed beside a broken terracotta pot. Its arms curl in different directions, and the pale rows of suckers remain visible even where the body falls into shadow. Seagrass, shells and small fish add life to the blue-green water around it.

The pot gives the right side a strong broken outline, while each arm makes a separate path through the foreground rocks. Look for changes in the octopus skin from russet to olive brown, then sort the round suckers by their pale centers. The seabed has plenty of small shells, sea grass blades and dark crevices to work through after the main shapes are set.
