Paper Waves in Saffron and Ink

Saffron paper curls over dark blue and ivory layers. Some edges are clean folds; others are torn, with little fibers showing along the rim. Shadows sit in the hollows between the sheets. Although there are only a few colors, none of the paper lies completely flat.

At a glance this looks like a straightforward color sort. In practice, the creases do most of the work. A yellow piece with a dark edge may belong under a fold rather than beside the blue paper. Follow one torn rim at a time and check how its shadow widens. The ivory layers at the bottom have particularly faint changes to compare.
