Puffins on a Windy Cliff

A group of puffins stands among the short grass on the cliff, each bird carrying a different angle of black, white and orange. The nearest puffin faces the sea with its bright bill and orange feet on a dark rock. Two others look across the slope, while one bird flies above the cliff edge in the distance.

Wind bends the grass towards the white surf below, where dark sea stacks break the blue water. Pink thrift flowers and lichen add tiny notes around the larger rocks. Start with the nearest bird shapes and their bills, then use the cliff edge to divide land from sea. The moving water has many white lines, but the rock columns provide solid landmarks through the background.
