Stacked Terrazzo Color Samples

Big marble chips float among smaller flecks in these stacked terrazzo samples. Rose, mint and charcoal backgrounds keep the slabs distinct, while their polished edges reveal the thickness of each piece. Overlaps break up the pattern with narrow bands of shadow across the work surface.

A single fleck may be too small to identify, but a cluster of three or four often spans a useful join. Notice the size of the aggregate as well as its color. The darker slab carries a different mix from the pale one. Straight sample edges divide the image into manageable sections without turning the whole puzzle into a regular grid.
