Sunrise in the Hills

Sunrise spreads across rolling green hills and a small lake tucked into the valley. Orange clouds gather around the low sun, while distant ridges fade through blue and violet layers. Wildflowers and a lone tree bring fine detail to the brighter foreground slope.

Bands of forest descend toward the small lake, separating the nearer meadow from the distant hills. The water repeats the sky's pale orange in a smooth patch surrounded by darker trees. On the near slope, flowers and grass remain individually visible. Farther away, ridges lose that detail and turn blue-gray. A lone tree gives one side of the meadow a distinct outline, while the low sun brightens the opposite horizon.
