Wildflower Valley

A broad alpine valley opens beneath snow-tipped mountains, its near slope covered in purple, yellow and red wildflowers. Fir trees descend toward the green floor, while bright clouds move across an intense blue sky. The wide view offers both bold color and long natural lines.

Complete the mountain chain and clouds along the horizon, then use the dark evergreen bands to map the valley's depth. Foreground flowers have visible petals and stems; farther away, the same colors shrink into fine speckles across the grass. That change in scale is more reliable than color alone. Small yellow blooms sit in looser groups than the dense purple flowers, a distinction that helps across the lower edge. The central valley is calmer, with meadows divided by shadow and tree lines. Once the slopes meet, the remaining sky and flower field are broken into much smaller, clearly bounded areas.
