Lilacs by a Garden Gate

Purple and white lilacs arch over an old wooden garden gate, framing a brick path that curves into deep spring greenery. The gate sits open between weathered brick walls, with ivy spreading across both sides and fresh leaves catching light above the flowers. Clusters hang in separate bunches, from pale cream white to soft violet and deeper purple.

Weathered gate slats give the picture a sturdy center before the flower canopy takes over. Brick joints and the path curve are useful for setting the direction of the scene, while ivy leaves create darker green patches along the wall. Lilac clusters need closer sorting near the end, but their color changes and rounded bunches keep the arch from becoming one repeated purple mass.
