Autumn Lake

A calm mountain lake reflects a ring of orange and gold trees beneath a crisp blue sky. The rocky shoreline curves in from the foreground, and the central peak appears again in the water with softer edges. Bright foliage frames both sides without hiding the open view across the lake.

Separate the real treeline from its reflection before joining either section. Leaves above the shore are sharper and more varied, while their mirrored colors break into horizontal ripples below. The mountain and its reflected twin can be built together, but the water version will look slightly darker and less defined. Foreground rocks provide solid shapes at the bottom edge, followed by the narrow strip of shoreline. Once that boundary is complete, the remaining sky and water are easier to read through cloud reflections and subtle changes in blue.
