Macaws in the Rainforest

A pair of scarlet macaws perch together on a mossy branch in the rainforest. Their red feathers stand out against the deep green leaves, with clear bands of yellow and blue running through the wings. Long tail feathers hang below the branch while spots of sunlight catch the birds' faces and the wet bark.

The white faces and curved beaks are easy to find first. Next come the yellow wing feathers, blue tips and thick branch across the middle. The shaded leaves need a closer look near the end, although vines and patches of light help break up the green.
