Robin beside Winter Rosehips

The robin's orange breast warms an otherwise frosted garden. It perches beside red rosehips, with olive feathers on its back and a thin dark eye stripe. Frost clings to the bare twigs, while the background fades into a pale winter blur.

The breast is a bright compact group, but its edge feathers soften into the gray and brown body. Rosehips are rounder and redder, with small dark stems joining them to the branch. Frost pieces carry tiny crystalline marks along one side. Build the branch first so the bird, berries and winter background have a shared frame.
