National Park Lake

A wooden lakeside path follows clear turquoise water toward a wall of forest and pale mountain peaks. Railings lead the eye into the distance, while large rocks sit between the boardwalk and the shore. Fir branches at the upper corner frame the bright, open view.

The boardwalk is the practical starting point. Its planks, posts and rails create strong perspective lines that narrow toward the center, making their order easy to judge. Build the rocky shore beside it, then continue into the dark evergreen strip across the lake. Water near the foreground is transparent enough to show submerged stones; farther out it becomes a smoother blue-green. The mountains have dry, angular faces rather than heavy snow. Once their skyline meets the trees, the pale sky and open lake have clear limits.
