Pelicans beside a Wooden Jetty

Four pelicans stand along a weathered wooden jetty, each turned at a slightly different angle. Their long bills and layered brown-and-white feathers contrast with the blue harbor, where fishing boats, pilings and a distant lighthouse sit in the background. Bright floats and thick ropes gather near the lower left and around the nearest posts.

The large foreground bird gives you an obvious starting point, with its pale head, dark neck and long bill. From there, follow the board lines down the jetty and use the floats to break up the rope and water pieces. The smaller birds are separated by their poses and shadows. Ripples, feathers and worn timber all carry enough detail to make the broad areas manageable.
