Woodland Stream jigsaw puzzle
A narrow woodland stream slips beneath a fallen, moss-covered tree. Ferns crowd both banks, and rounded boulders rise from the shallow water under a dense green canopy. The scene is intimate and shaded, with only small flashes of light on the current and wet stone.
The fallen trunk provides a strong horizontal line across the upper half. Build its rough bark and heavy moss, then locate the darkest gap beneath it where the stream continues. Foreground rocks vary through shape, lichen and reflected highlights, even though most share the same green cast. Water pieces show smoother surfaces and thin silver ripples. Fern fronds have ordered leaflets that keep them apart from looser ground plants. Once the trunk and channel are fixed, the remaining foliage can be placed according to the bank it grows from.
