Beach Chairs by the Pier jigsaw puzzle

A pair of beach chairs faces clear water beside a wooden pier, with striped shade and a bright summer sky completing the view. The furniture and pier create firm geometric shapes against the softer sand and sea. Shadows beneath the chairs also give the foreground more texture than its pale color suggests.

Assemble the pier boards and railings early, then use the chair frames to mark the lower half of the scene. Stripes from the umbrella or fabric are easy to recognize and help separate nearby pieces of sky and water. The sea changes color with depth and surface movement, so avoid making a single blue pile. Sand pieces can be grouped by shadow, footprints and anything touching the furniture. After the hard objects are in place, the horizon gives the quieter open areas a clean boundary.
